This morning, like every morning, I spruced things up a bit. After stopping into Starbucks for a quick breakfast and caffeine, an idea struck. Could I combine coffee and oatmeal into an on-the-go kickstart to my day?
The answer is yes, and it is delicious. Here’s the recipe:
1 cup of perfect oatmeal, available at Starbucks
1 packet Starbucks Via
1 packet dried fruits (comes with oatmeal)
1/2 packet brown sugar (comes with oatmeal)
1/4 cup walnuts
cinnamon, nutmeg to taste

A Venti Cafè Latte has 290 calories, 15 g fat (9 g saturated), 23 g carbs (21 g sugar) and 16 g protein
The new Cafè Oatmeal has 445 calories, 20 g fat (2 g saturated, the rest is the good-for-your-brain kind), 55 g carbs (26 g sugar) , and 13 g protein
