Co-Founder and CEO, Sterling Health and Wellness, Inc.
Rebecca graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in the school of ISYE with a specialty in health systems. She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 27 years. She co-founded MTM, with partners Lynda Staggs and Sharon Ball. She founded Sterling Health and Wellness, Inc., with the vision of personalized healthcare.
Rebecca is involved in multiple civic boards including Hospice Family Care, The Community Free Clinic, American Cancer Society, Alabama State Obesity Task Force and North Alabama Food Policy board.
Rebecca is passionate about helping people live the best life possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, gardening, cooking and enjoying music.
Amy Robinson, PhT
Amy studied Wireless Engineering and Mathematics at Auburn University before beginning her work in sustainabile economic development in 2007. Since then, she has expanded her endeavors to encompass health and wellness, an aspect of personal “sustainability.” Amy oversees Sterling Health’s development and innovation in wellness, working with groups ranging from GE to TEDMED; academics, physicians and more to initiate the latest wellness programs for both corporations and the general public.
In her spare time, Amy is an avid traveler and proponent of TED.com(Technology, Entertainment, Design: “Ideas worth spreading”). She founded the TEDx Global Music Project (tedxmusic.com) and organizes TEDxHuntsville, an event that Sterling Health is proud to support.
Kristian Testerman, Pharm.D
Kristian was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. She then went to pharmacy school at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated as a Pharm.D. in 2010.
Since graduation, Kristian has worked in both the community and hospital pharmacy settings. She is passionate about working with patients and helping people live well.
In her free time, Kristian enjoys spending time with her husband and puppies. She also enjoys playing soccer and volleyball (or any sport for that matter), and refurbishing old furniture pieces.
Lacey is a graduate of Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy. She completed a post-graduate residency in pediatrics at Childrens Hopsital of Alabama before five years as a staff pharmacist at Decatur General Hospital. Lacey is a licensed consultant and preceptor, is certified to perform medication management sessions, and consult patients within long-term care facilities.Lacey had completed full comprehensive compounding pharmacist training with PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America). She is passionate about pediatrics and hormone-replacement therapies, as well as the capacity that compounding would serve for these populations.
Outside of compounding, she is busy with Junior League of Huntsville and taking care of her son and family.
Heidi Phillips, PharmD
Senior Vice President, Veterinary Compounding
Heidi graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University’s Pharmacy School. She has over 18 years experience in veterinary medicine.Heidi served as a paramedic, an American Heart Association Certified Healthcare Provider.
In her free time, Heidi enjoys reading, movies and spending time outdoors caring for the animals on her farm.
Sterling Health Patient Advocate
Gina is the founder and owner of Valley Health Advocates. A former financial journalist and quality control manager, Gina graduated from the University of Tennessee and the University of Miami’s Alfus Patient Advocacy Program. She serves on Huntsville Hospital’s Community Health Initiatives Committee, is a Certified Senior Advisor, and served as the American Cancer Society Cancer Network’s ACT! Lead for U.S. Congressional District 5.In her free time, Gina enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, and doing just about anything outdoors with her family.
Sharon Ball, R.N.
Nursing Education Coordinator
Sharon is a graduate of Lutheran General and Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She has worked in nearly all areas of nursing during the past 50 years. She became Certified in Palliative Care during her 10 years with Hospice and has done post graduate certifications in Intensive Care Nursing, Coronary Care Nursing, and Neuro-intensive care. She received her certificate in Parish Nursing in 2001. Sharon has taught hundreds of pain management classes throughout the Huntsville medical community and was one of the founders of MTM Services of Alabama.
